Whole Foods takes so much of my money, and I hand it over gladly. BUT I realized that I do need to be a bit more aware of what I’m spending on food. I want everything I see, but I have learned to try and buy foods that I plan to use just for the week, and a few each week that will store for later.
As usual, a few of these purchases were totally unnecessary, but I can’t say no to anything Christmas-related, which explains the egg nog purchase.
Additionally, when organic berries get too expensive, I purchase them in frozen form and throw them in my fridge when I get home to add to my yogurt. OR you can keep them frozen to add to your smoothies. I also bought gum, which wasn’t a staple, and unfortunately the kind I bought wasn’t actually too good taste-wise, but it is supposed to be good for your teeth.
