We are now in the middle of winter, and although the weather hasn’t been too bad, it’s really taking a toll on my skin. If you’re like me you’re prone to having dry, itchy skin too.
I’ve been interested recently in using all natural products that are good for your skin too. As we know, our skin absorbs everything it comes in contact with it. Therefore, I’m not interested in slathering on lotions filled with chemicals that will be absorbed into my body.
Chemicals in beauty products can be responsible for cancer, endocrine disruption, organ toxicity, and who really knows what else?!
Knowing this information has prompted me to go out and find some good all natural products to incorporate into my life. Unfortunately, I still haven’t found a great natural deodorant yet, but I’ve tried quite a few natural ones. Let me know if you have any ideas regarding this area! But for today, I wanted to tell you about two amazing products I use to keep my skin moisturized.
The first one are these amazing LOTION WIPES by Pacifica! In the winter, I hate putting on cold lotion after I get out of the shower. I just want to quickly put on my clothes to warm up. I happened to find a variety pack of these at Ulta on sale, and I was hooked! These wipes make life so much easier, you can get dressed immediately, and they smell amazing too! They are formulated without sulfates, petrolatum, parabens, SLS or phthalates. There are plenty of different scents, but the Indian coconut nectar was my fave.
Another great product that I have used for about a year or so, is this AGE DEFYING NIGHT REPAIR CREAM by Andalou Naturals. This lotion feels rich and thick and works really well. They use a Fruit Stem Cell Science to renew your skin. The purpose is to “improve dermal texture, diminish fine lines and wrinkles overnight for smooth, ageless beauty.” Seriously, what else could a person ask for?!
Give them a try and let me know what you think!!
